Wedding dress shopping is a thing most brides look forward to. Brides start to picture what they feel like to walk down the aisle, but the coronavirus pandemic is changing our shopping experience. Here are some suggestions to help you recreate your wedding dress shopping experience while we’re social distancing.
Virtual Appointment
Most of the bridal boutiques are not yet open until June, but some are introducing virtual appointments that you can shop the perfect bridal look from home. AT Romance held a virtual appointment via Zoom screen share, or Face Time. A one-on-one appointment includes 60 minutes of live shopping with a stylist. Prior to your virtual appointment, you will be asked to complete an online survey. This would help our stylist to know more about your size and any preference in gown style. Your dress shopping experience can be more personalized. We’ll guide you through shopping on our website; find your gown style, size, delivery date, and options for customization and alteration.
At Home Try-On
AT Romance offers At Home Try-On service while we’re social distancing. After scheduling a virtual appointment with us, you have an option to select your top 3 gown styles to try on at home. This At Home Try-On option is $75. The fee will go towards your bridal gown purchase. 3 gowns will deliver to your home and also can meet virtually with our stylish for questions, etc. This is only available for San Francisco Bay Area residences.
Sample Sale
As more new gown styles are getting ready to come in, bridal boutiques are starting to clear stock during the coronavirus pandemic. You can take the opportunity to search around for some big sales, but there are usually limited styles and sizes available.
Our sample sale price ranges from $890-$1350. CLICK HERE to shop our available style.
Get Inspiration Online to Customize Your Own Unique Wedding Gown
If you want to create a style you desire from head to toe, consider working with a local bridal boutique to design your own unique gown. We always recommend brides to browse Pinterest for inspiration, and it’s actually the best time to think about every single detail on your gown design during this Shelter in Place order. Be sure the gown is made-to-measure and alteration is covered. A custom gown design will take longer than ordering a wedding gown because it’s made from scratch. Production time is usually 3-6 months depending on the difficult design detail gowns. And bridal boutique might only take a limited number of custom design orders each month, so don’t wait too late to order your wedding gown. Shop the Bridal Accessories and Veils Online
If you have already found your dream wedding gown, it’s the time to look for bridal accessories to complete your wedding look from head to toe, such as headpieces and a statement-making veil. If you chose a simple wedding dress, you may consider a lace veil with stunning and soft tulle.
